Lance Braswell is a native Texan, a graduate of Sam Houston University and a Houston Astros fan. He is a retired U.S. Army major who served his country from 1989 thru 2009 in Bosnia,  Iraq and stateside.  He served as a contractor advising the Afghan Ministry of Interior/Afghan National Police. He was in  telecom technology with top secret clearance.  Lance is married to Lin and they have seven children and eight grandchildren.
